Volunteers

We love our parent and community volunteers! Many of our special events would not happen without the help of the PTO and other community members.

If you are willing and able to volunteer in the library, we could always use assistance in the day to day management of the library, including making displays, repairing books, shelving, participation in read alouds and lessons, and assisting students with checking out books.

All volunteers will need to fill out the Judson ISD Volunteer Application and complete a background check each year. More Information Here

 Donations

Check Out the Library's DonorsChoose Page for current projects!

The Hopkins Library will only accept donations of books that meet the general selection criteria for library books. This includes factors such as like-new condition, quality binding, new and relevant information, and high appeal for students. Brand new books of high interest will also be accepted to give away to students during various events throughout the year.

In addition, the Hopkins Library would love donations of craft supplies and building kit materials for the MakerSpace. We are always looking to grow! Ideas for donations include: Legos, beads, origami paper, building blocks, board games, puzzles, and other creative supplies.
